How to fix error 0x80070035: The network path was not found in Windows

This error occurs when we try to access another client on the LAN. Whether you have the same WORKGROUP, or you have adjusted to Share Permission or Security, this error can occur.
To solve this error, try the method below:

Method 1: Enable services Windows system

Press the key combination Windows + R → type services.msc and click Enter. Look for the services below and enable

Right click to Service → Select Properties

  1. DCHP Client.
  2. Homegroup Listener.
  3. Homegroup Provider.
  4. Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper.
  5. NetTcp Port SHaring Service.
  6. Network Connections.
  7. Network List Service.
  8. Network Location Awareness.
  9. TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper.
  • Click Startup type: Automatic The service will automatically start when the computer restarts.
  • Click Start to start the service

Method 2: Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP

Step 1:

Access Control PanelNetwork and InternetNetwork Connections

Step 2:

Right click the network card and select Properties.

Step 3: Click “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Version 4” in the list.

Step 4: Click Properties and then click Advanced.

Step 5: On the Advanced TCP/IP window settings, go to the “WINS” tab → Click Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP and then click OK.

Please restart the computer for the changes to take effect.


I have consulted many ways to do it on the internet. However, the tutorial articles are very long and cumbersome. Just with the 2 simple methods above I believe you can fix the error 0x80070035 . I hope you enjoy it
